Double Pinochle Mobile is Steele Game Studios iPhone and iPod version of its iPad Double Deck Pinochle Game! Double Pinochle Mobile allows the player to play Pinochle the way it was meant to be played, with an intelligent partner and challenging opponents.
Similar to Double Pinochle, players can choose between 3 different themes.

Fun but locks up frequently
Locks up in the middle of the game. Need to work out the kinks, game is fun but too frustrating when it locks up.

Horrible user interface
Bad backgrounds too. The game does seem to know how to play properly. It also has a small screen that you can not adjust. Wish it had better graphics also

Good game for price value
Was best game Of double pinochle I played in years, could use a rules help and description of the only three options provided. Three items I consider problematic; One is the confusion when after having meld and winning a number of hands my team scored 0 for the round ??? 20 tricks is pretty high to save your own meld. Second is it would not let me bid my best handed suit because I didnt have a marriage in that suit. Third, unless Trump is lead, you should be allowed to play a lower card of the suit, forcing plays of counters is counterintuitive and sets both AI and human players up to often take a zero for a round, so much more often I stopped playing for all these reasons. Overall it is a lot of fast paced fun being able to play a double deck, for about a week, before the inflexible rules ruin the fun.
